Kristin Reischek, Interior Designer
B.Env.D., NCIDQ, EDAC

Kristin joined MMP Architects in 2012 after spending five years working in a small commercial interior design firm where she gained experience in multiple aspects of the project process, from the initial schematic design stages to construction documents and project/contract management. A respected member of the design community, Kristin has developed close working relationships with many consultants and industry specialists.

Her strong understanding of commercial, retail, healthcare design and National Building Code practices have made her a valuable team member.  For the past 9 years with MMP she has been expanding her experience in post-secondary education, commercial and healthcare design projects varying in scale from large new builds to smaller renovations.  In the future, she is keen on further expanding her commercial design knowledge in areas such as the hospitality and retail industries and further employing her EDAC credentials.

As a senior designer, she is often engaged on projects from inception to work closely with the clients to develop and gather pre-design information and is involved with client meetings to develop design strategies.  This involvement continues through the construction drawing and construction administration phases.

Her education to date includes a Diploma in Interior Design and Merchandising from Lethbridge Community College and a Bachelor of Environmental Design Degree from the University of Manitoba, where she focused on Architecture. Further expanding her training, Kristin achieved her NCIDQ certification in 2014 and her EDAC Certification in 2017.
